About this cookie policy
This cookie policy describes the cookies and other tracking tools used on the website SKYL4R (servizio) (https://privacy.skyl4r.ai): what they are for, who sets them, how long they last and how you can choose which ones to accept. The controller is SKYL4R S.R.L.
It is provided under Article 122 of Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003 (the “Italian Privacy Code”), which implements Article 5(3) of Directive 2002/58/EC, under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and in line with the guidelines on cookies and other tracking tools issued by the Italian Data Protection Authority on 10 June 2021.

What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that the websites you visit save on your device (computer, tablet or smartphone) and that are sent back to the same websites on later visits. Other tools work in a similar way and follow the same rules: browser storage (localStorage and sessionStorage), tracking pixels (small images or scripts that report a page visit) and identifiers derived from the characteristics of your device, such as fingerprinting. For simplicity, this policy calls them all “cookies”.
- First-party: set by the website you are visiting (privacy.skyl4r.ai).
- Third-party: set by another domain, for example that of a service embedded in the page.
- Session: deleted when you close your browser.
- Persistent: kept on your device until the stated expiry or until you delete them.
Cookie categories and classification criteria
Each cookie used on the website is assigned to one of four categories. Not all of them are necessarily used: see the table below.
Necessary
They are needed to run the website or to provide a service you have explicitly asked for, such as remembering your cookie choice or protecting the website from abuse. They do not require consent (Article 122(1) of the Italian Privacy Code) and are always active.
Preferences
They enable non-essential features, such as remembering some of your settings or personalising parts of the website. They are active only with your consent.
Statistics
They measure how the website is used (for example visits and most viewed pages) in order to improve it. They are active only with your consent.
Marketing
They show you advertising in line with your interests, including on other websites, and measure its effectiveness, possibly by building a profile based on your browsing. They are active only with your consent.
How cookies are classified
A cookie is classified as necessary only if the website, or the service you asked for, could not work without it; cookies used to build profiles or show targeted advertising are always marketing. The Garante's guidelines allow statistics cookies to be treated as technical cookies, without consent, only under specific conditions: minimised data (for example with part of the IP address masked), no combination with other data and no disclosure to other parties. On this website, statistics cookies are in any case activated only with your consent.

The duration shows how long the cookie can stay on your device unless you delete it earlier; “session” means that it is deleted when you close your browser.

How you make and change your choices
On your first visit the website shows a banner with two buttons of equal prominence, Reject and Accept, and the command Learn more and customize. With Reject only necessary cookies stay active; with Accept you consent to all categories; with Learn more and customize you choose category by category and, within each category, service by service, and no box is pre-ticked.
Reject is also the command that closes the banner keeping the default settings: you keep browsing without any cookies or tracking tools other than technical ones. Scrolling or continuing to browse is not consent, and until you choose the website activates nothing beyond necessary cookies.
Your choice lasts 12 months. The banner is shown again when it expires, when something substantial changes in the services used or in this policy, or if your choice is no longer stored in your browser (for example because you deleted your cookies); for other reasons, not before six months.
Changing your mind
You can change your choices or withdraw your consent at any time, as easily as you gave it, using the “Privacy preferences” link on every page of the website. Withdrawal applies from then on.
You can also do it from the preferences icon, always visible at the bottom of the screen.
Record of your choices
Every choice, including a refusal, is saved in your browser in the technical cookie skyl4r_cs (with a copy in local storage) and recorded in minimised form as proof: a random identifier, the date, the choices made and the versions of the banner and of the notices. The record contains no IP address and no data about your browser or device.
Managing cookies in your browser
